Super quick service for both takeout and delivery options. The dumplings are the best and crispy beef is also so good. Great go-to Chinese takeout option.

I had heard good things about TNR and since moving to Arlington wanted to find a good Chinese spot! TNR had spacious indoor seating and we could see multiple orders of takeout being picked up! All food came out quickly and HOT! For appetizers, we decided to order an array of soup dumplings (Lucky 6) that came with a flavorful broth and the fried shrimp wontons were hot and crispy and served with a delicious side sauce. On to entrees, the chicken lo mein came with heaps of chicken, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The beef chow foon was another noodle dish we enjoyed, with tender beef! Lastly, the beef and broccoli was really delicious with yummy steamed broccoli and a good amount of beef! All dishes had large portions and reheated well the next day for leftovers. There was enough food for 4 big servings!

New go-to Chinese food spot for me! We ordered the Lucky Six Soup Dumplings as an appetizer, which were so colorful and cute and also a fun way to try different soup dumpling flavors! The fried shrimp wontons were also crispy and had a nice dipping sauce. The noodles were definitely my favorite part of this meal! The chicken lo mein serving was HUGE and so delicious while I also really enjoyed the beef chow foon with the thicker noodles and tender beef. The beef with broccoli was also a solid dish! Overall great meal and took home a lot of leftovers that could last another 2 meals! Service was fast even though they were busy with a bunch of takeout orders! It was also nice and cozy inside with TVs to watch football or enjoy a casual dinner with your family.

Recently got to check out TNR Cafe, really excited because I haven't done traditional Chinese in a while! TNR has been consistently awarded The Best Restaurant Arlington for Chinese food these past few years, so I knew this was going to be a nice experience. Here's all that we got: Pan-Fried Dumplings Pork & Crab Soup Dumplings TNR Fried Rice Pan-Fried Crispy Noodles Roasted Duck 1/2 Salt & Pepper Tofu A lot of these dishes brought me back to my childhood, my favorites were the Pan-Fried Crispy Noodles & the Roasted Duck, such delicious Chinese classics I'd have whenever I used to go out with my family! The Fried Rice also had a really good Wok-Hei to them, super nice stir-fried flavor~ Congrats again to TNR for their Best Of Arlington Award!

This rating is just for their boba! I came on a weekend and picked up a lychee boba. The lychee tea on it's own was AMAZING, very authentic and fresh made with high-quality ingredients. The boba was just okay, depending on how you like it. For me, I like soft and chewy, and their boba was more hard and chewy. They gave me the boba within 7 minutes, which is great for a restaurant! Definitely would be curious to come here for the food.

I got several dishes for takeout: Pan fried dumplings, fried shrimp wontons, beef chow foon, and salt and pepper squid. The pan fried dumplings were chewy and crisp just like I like them and the filling was very flavorful. One of my favorites of the night. The shrimp wontons were crisp and full of shrimp. Would definitely get them again I just wish they were a little larger or they gave you more for the price. The beef chow foon was lacking flavor. Not much else to say about it but it was a good sized portion at least. The salt and pepper shrimp had great flavor. I don't think I'd get it again for takeout because it was soggy by the time I got home but it would probably be even better if you ate it at the restaurant. Will come back to try some more things!

TNR Cafe was a pretty good Chinese restaurant for the area we were staying in. It's definitely for a western audience but it did serve many classic Chinese dishes. We had the Peking duck, sweet and sour pork, spicy crunchy beef and green beans. I liked all the dishes but the beef was my least favorite. The service was pretty good. Overall, it was a good meal. If you're looking for decent Chinese food in this area of Arlington/DC, this is a good option.
